Clan History: For decades, the Ōtsutsuki clan has been apart of the shinobi world, hiding in the shadows. The members of this clan had lived in secrecy since the day of its founding. Implied by its name, this Ōtsutsuki clan is directly related to the Ōtsutsuki clan of the past. Techniques and Hidden Jutsu have been passed down to this clan, making it a powerful clan in its own right. Over time, the first few founding members acquired more knowledge of the past concerning the Ōtsutsuki-- Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, and so on. This knowledge caused a dispute that would last for years and continue in years to come as the clan rises into the world of ninja.

The resulting consequence of this dispute was a clan divided into two-- the Main Family and the Branch Family. An everlasting competition of superiority and rivaling intentions, one could say. Both families possess exceptional skill in their techniques and other arts, but differ in motives.Due to it being a clan that had been in the shadows for decades, the true history of this clan remains a mystery in other villages. What may be known is that both Ōtsutsuki families reside somewhere in the Land of Moon and have some sort of connection with the Uchiha, Senju, and Hyūga clans.

Clan Attire: The clansmen of the Ōtsutsuki typically wear white, ceremonial kimonos with a light-colored sash tied over the right or left shoulder and black ninja sandals. Somewhere on their clothing is the symbol of the clan and/or the family that the members hail from. The collar of these kimonos are high, and are decorated with six, black magatama. Most usually wear a necklace of the same magatama, or they are tattooed.
